Kia's subcompact, available in sedan and hatchback forms, moves into 2015 unchanged.
Trim levels are LX, LX+, LX+ Auto, LX+ Eco/Auto, EX, EX Sunroof, SX, SX Auto, and SX w/Navigation. All share a 1.6L four-cylinder engine that makes 138 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque; a six-speed manual transmission comes standard in LX, LX+, and SX hatchback trims; all others get a six-speed automatic.
Standard equipment includes 15-inch steel wheels with covers, electric power-assist steering, four-wheel disc brakes, tilt steering, trip computer, map lights, illuminated visor-mounted vanity mirrors, cloth seats, six-way manual driver's seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, power windows and door locks, power-adjustable heated side mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, rear wiper and washer, four-speaker stereo with auxiliary and USB inputs, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, rear spoiler, and body-colour side mirrors and door handles.
LX+ adds air conditioning, heated front seats, cruise control, keyless entry, and Bluetooth.
LX+ Auto adds the automatic transmission and the active eco system.
LX+ Eco brings an engine idle stop-and-go system.
EX trim includes 16-inch alloy wheels, tilt-and-telescopic steering, leather-trimmed steering wheel and shifter, metal-grain trim, soft-touch crash pad, centre-console armrest, power-folding side mirrors with turn signal repeaters, UVO infotainment system, backup camera, automatic headlights, and headlights.
The EX Sunroof model adds a sunroof.
SX trim gets 17-inch wheels, upgraded front brakes, sport-tuned suspension, intelligent keyless entry with pushbutton ignition, heated steering wheel, 'supervision' gauge cluster, cooling glove box, leather seats, alloy sport pedals, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, projector headlights, LED taillights, and LED daytime running lights.
SX auto adds the automatic transmission, active eco system, and paddle shifters.
Finally, SX w/Navigation includes navigation and a sunroof.
