Kia's full-size luxury sedan, the K900, moves into 2016 with a handful of new features. The base V6 model now gets a power open/close trunk, the V6 Premium model adds autonomous emergency braking, a dual pop-up centre armrest, and a new front passenger seat with lumbar and easy access setting. Finally, the K900 V8 Elite is now specified with Continental tires and premium quilted Nappa leather seats.
This big sedan starts out with a 3.8L V6 that makes 311 hp and 293 lb-ft of torque, which can be upgraded, in Elite trim, to a 5.0L V8 generating 420 hp and 376 lb-ft. Both come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive; there is no AWD option.
Fuel consumption estimates are 13.9/9.2 L/100 km with the V6, and 15.6/10.6 with the V8.

V6 Premium trim adds radar cruise control, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, head-up display, adaptive headlights, panoramic sunroof, Nappa leather seats, real wood trim, heated leather/wood-trimmed steering wheel, rear-seat lumbar, power driver's extendable leg cushion, power front headrests, and an upgraded front passenger seat with lumbar and easy access function.
Finally, the V8 Elite model adds 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, power soft-close doors, ventilated rear seats, power reclining rear seats, aviation-style rear headrests, rear-seat "air" lumbar support, upgraded gauge cluster, 360-degree camera system, and premium quilted Nappa leather seating.
Prices range from $49,995 to $70,195.
