The Wagoneer shows Jeep is serious about staking its claim in the market for full-size SUVs with three-row seating: this model finally puts Jeep in the running against established big truck-based SUVs from its key domestic rivals and a handful of import models. Not only can the Wagoneer move people comfortably in three rows of seats, but it also boasts impressive towing capacity and big power from a range of engines.
Issue:
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear.
Note: For the Grand Cherokee model, this recall affects both Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L models.

Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the rearview camera module software.

On certain vehicles, the third-row seat belt buckles may not be accessible or may have been damaged during production. As a result, a passenger may not be able to buckle the seat belt.

Not wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
FCA will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the third-row seat belt buckle(s).

A side curtain airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the upper B-pillar trim pieces. The technician will reinstall or replace the trim pieces, as necessary.
Issue:
On a small number of vehicles, the pull strap for the second-row center seat recliner may stick on the seat trim. If this happens, the seatback may not lock in the upright position and could move in a crash.
Safety Risk:
A seatback that moves in a crash could create an increased risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the second-row center seat recliner strap.
