For 2022, Jeep joins the full-size luxury SUV class with the Grand Wagoneer, an all-new model that brings back a well-loved badge from the brand’s past. As its name suggests, the Grand Wagoneer is an upmarket version of the Wagoneer model that is also new for 2022 and is covered in a separate buyer’s guide entry.

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is all-new for 2022.
Available Trims
Jeep offers its new luxury model in Series I, Series II, Obsidian, and Series III trim levels. All configurations include a 6.4L V8 engine, eight-speed transmission, and 4WD.
Standard Features
Series I comes with adaptive damping air suspension, limited-slip rear differential, LED headlights with automatic high beams, power side steps, 20-inch wheels, hands-free tailgate, power-folding side mirrors with driver’s side auto-dimming, passive keyless entry, and remote engine start.
Inside, you’ll enjoy a three-panel sunroof, four-zone A/C, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming mirror, power-adjustable second- and third-row seats, heated front and rear seats, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, rear window sun shades, 24-way power front seats, and power steering column and pedal adjustments.
Tech features include a 19-speaker McIntosh stereo, navigation, wireless smartphone integration and charging, and a digital gauge cluster.
Grand Wagoneer’s safety suite comprises active lane management, adaptive cruise, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic braking, rain-sensing wipers, automated park assist, and surround-view cameras.
Series II adds 22-inch wheels, a digital rearview mirror, suede headliner, drowsy driver detection, and traffic sign recognition.
Obsidian gains adjustable roof rail crossbars, ventilated rear seats, foldable cargo shade, and a 23-speaker McIntosh stereo.
Finally, Series III gets a rear-facing interior camera, a front-passenger infotainment display, highway driving assist, intersection collision assist, and night vision.
Key Options
A convenience group brings a digital rearview mirror, active driving assist, drowsy driver detection, rear-facing interior camera, intersection collision assist, night vision, and traffic sign recognition.
A premium group bundles a front console cooler, 23-speaker stereo, and second-row ventilated seats.
You can also add a rear-seat entertainment system.

Jeep’s fuel consumption estimates for the Grand Wagoneer are 18.6/12.8 L/100 km (city/highway).
Competition
The Grand Wagoneer marks Jeep’s arrival in a class dominated by the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Infiniti QX80, Lexus LX, BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and Land Rover Range Rover.
