Jackflash1960 Awesome Ride April 06, 2016 Deluxe
Overall Score
I have owned this vehicle for 4yrs. Now that I have all the required maintenance issue out of the way really enjoy the comfort, ride stability, and the fact that after hours of driving I dont feel exhausted. The 3.0 V-6 has a very nice stable power band. You deffinately feel a differance in preformance when you switch to Sport mode on the selector switch. Has been very reliable. Good job Jaguar.

On certain vehicles, the Fuel Delivery Module (FDM), Jet Pump Module (JPM) and/or Cluster Valve (CV) seals are not properly retained in the fuel tank. This may result in illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or a fuel odour. If the amount of fuel is above the FDM, JPM or CV apertures, fuel may be discharged onto the ground. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel tank or change the seals.

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 135. The brake fluid master cylinder reservoir is recessed and oriented in the engine compartment beneath a leaf screen, such that the brake fluid warning statement embossed on the top of the reservoir body is not visible by direct view. Correction: Jaguar will mail letters to all registered owners which will include labels containing the required warning statement and installation instructions.

On certain vehicles, the Electronic Park Brake (EPB) may unintentionally apply the handbrake causing the vehicle to decelerate and in extreme cases, to lock-up the rear wheels. This condition can arise at any speed with or without illumination of the warning indicator lamps on the instrument cluster or the stop lamps. Correction: Dealers will replace the EPB module.

On certain vehicles, the front suspension lower ball joints may not have been tightened to specifications during manufacture. This could result in loosening of the attaching nuts and, ultimately result in a fracture of the ball joint stud. This could adversely affect vehicle control and a crash could occur. Should the left side ball joint fracture, the wheel and tire could contact the fuel lines or the fuel filter potentially resulting in fuel leakage. Correction: Ball joint torque will be inspected and vehicles with loose ball joints will either have the fasteners tightened to specification or if necessary, the ball joints will be replaced.
