Model Overview
The I-Pace is Jaguar's first all-electric vehicle, a compact model that rides the line between the car and crossover categories. It's a handsome thing that borrows styling cues from other Jags, but wears them in such a way that the I-Pace stands out among the brand's more conventional cars. I-Pace's performance is strong, but the point is a quiet drive inside a well-done cabin that lives up to Jag's reputation for posh vehicles.

On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Jaguar dealer during recalls H441 (Transport Canada recall number 2023-302) and H459 (Transport Canada recall number 2023-564) may not be effective. For vehicles affected by H441, a second repair is required. For vehicles affected by H441 and H459, a third repair is required.
On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery could create smoke or heat, which can melt or damage the battery and nearby parts.
Safety Risk:
A battery that overheats can create a fire risk.
Corrective Actions:
Jaguar will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. To reduce the safety risk, Jaguar recommends that you monitor your vehicle when charging and unplug the charging cable once your vehicle reaches 75% charge. You should also charge and park your vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed.

On certain vehicles, the turn signal telltale may flash at the same speed when a turn signal bulb fails. As a result, you may not notice when a turn signal bulb is not working.
Safety Risk:
A turn signal telltale that doesn't work properly could cause you to be unaware when a turn signal bulb fails. Additionally, turn signals that do not work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. This could increase the risk of a crash.

Note: This recall only affects vehicles without a heated windshield.
