The Infiniti QX80 is a full-size luxury SUV that places the Japanese brand in a field dominated by American and European upscale brands. Despite having been around since 2004, this is only the second generation of the QX80, which was introduced in 2010 and has been refreshed a couple of times.

For 2022, the Infiniti QX80 gets a new single-screen infotainment display and standard wireless smartphone charging.
Available Trims
Infiniti produces the QX80 in Luxe and ProActive trim levels. Both are powered by a 5.6L V8 engine, seven-speed transmission, and AWD.
Standard Features
Standard exterior features include auto on/off LED headlights, LED fog lights, power-folding/auto-dimming/heated side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, 20-inch wheels, and passive keyless entry.
Inside, you get a sunroof, heated steering wheel, power steering wheel adjustments, power-adjustable front seats, an auto-dimming review mirror, heated/cooled front seats, three-zone A/C, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, navigation, Apple/Android smartphone integration, a 17-speaker stereo, and a rear-seat entertainment system.
QX80’s safety package comprises forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, driver attention alert, and surround-view monitoring.
ProActive trim adds adaptive headlights, 22-inch wheels, a smart rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, distance control assist, blind spot intervention, and lane departure prevention.
Key Options
In both trims, you can choose between seven- and eight-passenger seating.

Infiniti’s fuel consumption estimates are 17.5/12.2 L/100 km (city/highway).
Competition
The Infiniti QX80 competes against Europe’s Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, Audi Q7, and Land Rover Range Rover; America’s Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and GMC Yukon Denali; and Japan’s Lexus LX.
