History / Overview
The Q60 is Infiniti's sole coupe model, a performance-oriented vehicle that shares its architecture with the Q50 sport sedan, as well as Nissan's 370Z and Skyline sports cars. The Q60 began as the G37 coupe before Infiniti adopted its current Q/QX naming scheme.
What's New / Key Changes from Last Year
For 2020, the sole change is an updated infotainment system that supports the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone platforms.
Available Trims
The Q60 comes in Luxe, Sport, and Red Sport trims. All use a 3.0L turbocharged V6 engine, a seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Red Sport boasts 33 per cent more horsepower than its lesser line mates.
Standard Features
On the outside, Luxe trim gets 19-inch wheels and tires, auto on/off LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and fog lights, passive keyless entry, heated/auto-dimming side mirrors, and remote engine start.
Inside, there's a sunroof, leatherette upholstery, heated/eight-way power front seats with lumbar and torso bolsters, a heated steering wheel with electric adjustments, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, push-button ignition, a garage door opener, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 13-speaker stereo with satellite radio.
Connectivity features include dual infotainment displays, navigation, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth.
Among the Q60's standard safety features are tire pressure monitoring and forward collision warning.
Sport adds larger brakes, rain-sensing wipers, aluminum pedals, leather upholstery, paddle shifters, carbon fibre interior trim, ambient interior lighting, and 360-degree exterior camera views.
Red Sport gains 20-inch wheels and tires, a performance exhaust system, and seats with red contrast stitching.
Key Options
Sport and Red Sport can be optioned with a Proactive suite of active safety features comprising blind spot monitoring and intervention, lane departure warning and prevention with active lane control, distance control assist, the eco pedal system, auto-levelling adaptive headlights, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and Infiniti's direct adaptive steering system.
Fuel Economy
Infiniti's fuel consumption estimates for the Q60 are 12.3/8.6 L/100 km (city/highway) for entry-level cars, and 12.5/9.2 in the more potent Red Sport variant.
Competition
Infiniti's Q60 competition includes some big names: there's the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and BMW's 4 Series, and the Lexus RC.
