NEW FOR 2008:
- All-new model replaces G35 Coupe
An all-new model for 2008, the G37 coupe complements the G35 sedan that was redesigned for 2007.
The G37 uses a 3.7-litre V6 engine, mated to a five-speed automatic with manual mode and downshift rev matching in the G37 and Sport Package models, and to a six-speed manual in the Sport M6.
Features on the G37 include 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, bi-Xenon headlamps, heated mirrors, power sunroof, eight-way power driver and four-way power passenger heated leather seats, driver's side memory, six-CD/MP3 stereo with XM Satellite Radio, cruise control, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, power windows, power locks with keyless entry, tire pressure monitoring system and first-aid kit.
The Sport Package models add 19-inch alloy wheels, limited-slip differential, automatic headlamps, driver's seat manual thigh extension and power bolsters, eight-way power passenger seat, sport-tuned suspension, aluminum pedals and larger brakes.
Available options include adaptive headlamps, navigation system with XM NavTraffic real-time traffic information, intelligent cruise control and rear-view monitor.
Beautifully styled, the G37 sports a slightly larger engine than its G35 sedan sibling. It's larger and stiffer than the coupe it replaces, and puts more power to its wheels. The optional Four-Wheel Active Steer system, available on the Sport models, uses a series of sensors to separately direct the front and rear actuators, changing steering gear ratios and rear wheel geometry by up to one degree for extra stability and handling prowess. This is definitely a winner in the sport-coupe category.
