NEW FOR 2012: - All-new model The Hyundai Veloster is an all-new model for 2012. The compact coupe uses an unusual “three-door” design, with one rear door on the passenger side to make it easier for rear-seat passengers to enter and exit. It is also the initial vehicle to use Hyundai’s first six-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Veloster uses a 1.6-litre direct-injection four-cylinder engine with six-speed manual transmission or optional six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. It comes in a single trim line that can be optioned with a Tech Package. Standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, heated cloth seats, driver’s manual height adjustment, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, CD/MP3 stereo with 7-inch touch screen, satellite radio, rearview camera, USB and auxiliary input, Bluetooth connectivity, illuminated vanity mirrors, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, power windows with driver’s auto up/down, heated mirrors, keyless entry with pushbutton start, fog lights, cargo cover, and anti-theft alarm. The Tech Package adds 18-inch alloy wheels with painted inserts, automatic headlights, panoramic sunroof, premium stereo, navigation system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloy pedals, cloth seats with “leatherette” bolsters, high-gloss black interior accents, and 115-volt power outlet.
