History/Overview
This is the Elantra Hybrid’s third year in the Canadian marketplace, following its 2021 introduction as part of the car’s seventh-generation lineup. The Hyundai Elantra Hybrid is unchanged this year.
Available Trims
Hyundai sells the Elantra Hybrid in Preferred and Ultimate trim levels. In both, power is from a 1.6L four-cylinder engine matched with an electric motor and a six-speed automatic transmission.
Standard Features
Preferred trim comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, six-speaker audio, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone A/C, passive keyless entry with hands-free trunk, LED taillights, and auto on/off headlights. Safety features include forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, lane keep/follow assist, automatic high beams, driver attention warning, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Ultimate adds forward pedestrian and junction-turning detection, adaptive cruise control, wireless phone charging, digital gauges, leather upholstery, and a sunroof.

Hyundai’s fuel consumption estimates for the Elantra Hybrid are 4.8/4.5 L/100 km (city/highway).
Competition
The Hyundai Elantra Hybrid’s only direct competitor is the Toyota Corolla Hybrid.
