For 2008, the Honda S2000 two-seater sports car receives upgrades, including new interior features.
The S2000 comes in a single trim line and uses a 2.2-litre four-cylinder engine with a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. Its soft top is electrically-powered and includes a glass rear window.
Features include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, power mirrors, high-intensity discharge headlamps, centre console with locking storage compartment, cruise control, exterior temperature gauge, power windows, power locks with keyless entry, leather seats, aluminum shifter knob with leather accent, leather-wrapped steering wheel, textured aluminum pedals and CD stereo with eight speakers.
Although it's been around a long time, the S2000 still sets the standard for Japanese sports car performance, with a high-revving engine, notchy shifter, and handling that almost anticipates the driver's desire. It's definitely a left-seat car, as passengers aren't really comfortable in the tight cabin, and the ride is tooth-rattling firm. The price is substantial, but once you're behind the wheel, you'll understand why enthusiasts don't mind paying it.
