NEW FOR 2014:
- Mid-cycle update
- Six-speed automatic standard on all models
- New technology and equipment enhancements
- HondaVAC in-vehicle vacuum available on Touring trim level
It’s always big news in the world of minivans when a key player gets refreshed. It’s the Odyssey’s turn for 2014.
Besides sporting mildly revised styling plus more standard equipment, the big news for 2014 is that the Odyssey sucks. Literally. Thanks to some clever engineering, the Odyssey can now be had with an on-board vacuum cleaner to pick up life’s little spills and messes. The HondaVAC is available on the Touring trim level.
The Odyssey is also now available with Honda’s latest infotainment system including HondaLink, and active safety technologies such as forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and Honda’s clever LaneWatch blind-spot assistant. These additions helped earn it an IIHS Top Safety Pick rating.
All Odysseys come powered by Honda’s trusted 3.5-litre V6 engine with i-VTEC and cylinder deactivation to save fuel. Previously, only the top-line Odyssey received a six-speed automatic. Now it's standard equipment across the board.
The Odyssey is available in six trim levels, two of which are new for 2014: LX, SE, EX, EX-L RES, EX-L Navi, and Touring.

This trim level of Odyssey has four LATCH seat points, 10 cupholders, and two 12-volt power outlets. New for 2014 is a four-way power front passenger seat, an expanded-view driver’s side mirror, one-touch turn signals, Bluetooth streaming audio, and SMS text message compatibility.
The SE trim adds eight-passenger seating capacity with multi-function second-row centre seat, a fifth LATCH seating point, five additional beverage holders, a removable front storage console with flip-up bag ring, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
