With a new Yukon due to arrive as a 2015 model, the 2014 extended-length XL model carries over with no major changes.
Standard Yukon models use a 5.3L V8 making 320 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque; Denali models use a 6.2L engine good for 403 hp and 417 lb-ft. All models use a six-speed automatic transmission. RWD is standard in non-Denali models, and can be optioned to 4WD; Denali models come standard with AWD.
Trim levels include SLE, SLT1, SLT2 and Denali.
Standard features include six airbags, trailer sway control and proactive roll avoidance, black assist steps, colour-keyed bumpers and door handles, body-coloured side mirrors with electric adjustment and manual folding, colour bodyside mouldings, Bluetooth, rear park assist and backup camera, black roof side rails, 17-inch wheels, full-size spare tire, tri-zone manual climate control, cruise control, carpeted floor mats, multifunction trip computer, second-row reading lights, tilt steering, leather-wrapped steering wheel, simulated woodgrain trim, nine-person seating with front bench seat, six-speaker stereo with auxiliary input, USB port, and satellite radio.
SLT1 models add fog lights, roof rack cross bars, tri-zone automatic climate control, front centre floor console, garage door opener, heated front seats, and rear-seat audio controls.
SLT2 trim gets a heated, wood-trimmed steering wheel, heated second-row outboard seats, leather seats, and power fold-and-tumble second-row seats.
Denali models add road-sensing electronically-controlled suspension (AutoRide) with air-assisted rear self-levelling, audo-dimming driver's side mirror, 20-inch wheels, heated and cooled front seats, 10-speaker stereo with surround sound and subwoofer, and navigation.
