NEW FOR 2012: - TBA A sister vehicle to the Chevrolet Equinox, the Terrain comes with a choice of two engines. A 2.4-litre four-cylinder is available on all models (SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1 and SLT-2). All but the SLE-1 can be optioned to a 3.0-litre V6 engine. Both engines use a six-speed automatic transmission. Configuration choices are front- or all-wheel drive. Features on the SLE-1 include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, OnStar, content theft alarm, body-colour door handles, fog lights, privacy glass, charcoal grille with chrome surround, automatic headlights, heated body-colour mirrors with blind spot corner, rearview camera, variable intermittent wipers, rear washer/wiper, cruise control, keyless entry, floor mats, driver information centre, auto-dimming rearview mirror, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, illuminated vanity mirrors, auto-down windows, cloth seats, 60/40 split-folding reclining and sliding rear seat, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and USB port, and Bluetooth connectivity. The SLE-2 adds automatic air conditioning, leather-wrapped steering wheel, roof rack side rails, premium cloth seats, eight-way power driver’s seat, premium Pioneer sound system and satellite radio. The SLT-1 adds remote starter, driver information centre, tire pressure monitoring system, and heated perforated leather seats. The SLT-2 adds 18-inch chrome-clad wheels, chrome door handles, chrome rear skid plate, chrome grille, power liftgate, chrome mirrors, chrome roof rack side rails, power sunroof, rear parking assist, and driver’s side memory.
