A sibling to the Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse, the Acadia uses a 3.6-litre V6 engine with six-speed automatic transmission. All models are front-wheel drive with optional all-wheel drive, except for the Denali, which is all-wheel only. Trim lines are the SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1, SLT-2 and Denali. Seating is eight-passenger on the SLE models and seven-passenger on the SLT and Denali trim lines. Features on the SLE-1 include 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear air conditioning, keyless entry, power mirrors, OnStar with Turn by Turn Navigation, fog lamps, theft-deterrent system, privacy glass, roof side rails, spoiler, variable intermittent wipers, intermittent rear wiper, cruise control, floor mats, driver information centre, tire pressure monitoring system, LED interior lights, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, auto-down driver’s window, cloth seats, second-row sliding 60/40-split flat-folding seat, 60/40 split-folding third-row bench seat, CD/MP3 stereo and XM satellite radio. The SLE-2 adds rear park assist, backup camera, remote starter, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, six-way driver and two-way passenger power adjustment, and Bluetooth connectivity. The SLT-1 adds 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic tri-zone climate control, variable-assist steering, chrome beltline mouldings, compass, exterior temperature display, blind spot mirrors, garage door opener, heated leather seats, second-row sliding captain’s chairs, Bose premium speaker system, USB port and rear-seat audio controls and earphone jacks. The SLT-2 adds xenon headlamps, power liftgate, power-folding mirrors, trailer towing package, 115-volt power outlet, auto up/down driver’s window, auto-down passenger window, and eight-way driver and four-way passenger power seat adjustment. The Denali adds 20-inch chrome-clad wheels, body-colour fascias, chrome grille, body-colour wheel flares, two-panel power sunroof, acoustic laminated windshield glass, premium woodgrain finish trim, head-up display, wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel, rear cargo area audio controls, and heated and cooled perforated leather front seats.
