The Genesis G90 is the flagship model of the Hyundai Motor Group’s luxury brand, a full-size sedan that was called Equus prior to a 2017 update. This car got another major refresh in 2020 that brought the styling you see here.

For 2022, there are no changes to the G90.
Available Trims
Genesis offers the G90 in a single Prestige trim level. Performance is from a 5.0L V8 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive.
Standard Features
The G90’s exterior sports adaptive LED headlights, LED taillights/daytime running lights, 19-inch wheels, passive keyless entry, panoramic sunroof, and hands-free trunk operation.
Inside, there’s a heated/leather-trimmed steering wheel, power-adjustable steering wheel, natural wood trim, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, integrated garage door remote, quilted Nappa leather, 22- and 16-way power driver and front passenger seats, and heated/ventilated front and rear seats.
The G90’s standard tech includes a 7.0-inch gauge cluster display, a head-up driver display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, navigation, and 17-speaker audio.
Finally, the G90’s standard safety package comprises forward collision warning with pedestrian/cyclist detection and automatic braking, a blind spot view camera, surround view cameras, adaptive cruise control, rear collision avoidance assist, blind spot monitoring with collision avoidance and lane change assist, and lane departure warning with lane keep assist.
Key Options
The G90’s only options are a set of multi-spoke wheels, and a variety of accessories, like a rear bumper protector, floor mats, and rear seat-mounted coat hangers and multimedia device holders.
Fuel Economy
Genesis’s fuel consumption estimates for the G90 are 15.0/10.1 L/100 km (city/highway).
Competition
The G90 has lofty aspirations, competing for big-sedan buyers with the BMW 7 Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and the Audi A8.
