The G90 is the flagship full-size sedan model of Hyundai's upscale Genesis range. Originally sold as the Hyundai Equus, the G90 got updated styling for its 2017 Genesis brand debut.
What's New / Key Changes from Last Year
For 2020, the G90 gets a significant styling update, with new headlights and taillights, and a wheel design that stands apart from anything else available on a big luxury sedan. The G90's cabin gets a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and active noise cancellation. Newly-available driver aids include lane centering, highway driving assist, cyclist detection and safe exit assist.
Available Trims
Genesis offers the G90 in a single, fully-loaded Prestige trim, which comes standard with a 5.0L V8, AWD and an eight-speed transmission.
While it's not officially on the order sheet, a 365-hp turbo V6 is available by special order at a slightly lower price.

All G90 models come with adaptive LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, 19-inch wheels, heated steering wheel, power steering wheel adjustments, natural wood trim, suede headliner, 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster screen, head-up display, LED interior lighting, including ambient lighting with seven colours, forward collision avoidance with pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear collision avoidance, blind spot monitoring with lane change assist, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, panoramic sunroof, passive keyless entry, hands-free power trunk open/close, auto-dimming rearview mirror, blind spot view monitor, multi-camera exterior views, quilted Nappa leather seating, 22-way driver and 16-way front passenger seats and heated and ventilated seats front and rear.

Fuel Economy
Genesis' fuel consumption estimates for the G90 are 15.2/10.2 L/100 km (city/highway) with the 5.0L V8. The special-order V6 is thriftier, at 13.7/9.7 L/100 km.
Competition
With the G90, Genesis hopes to attract shoppers looking at better-known posh sedans like the BMW 7 Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8, Lexus LS, Lincoln Continental and Cadillac CT6.
