History/Overview
Introduced as a 2022 model, the Ford Maverick is part of a new cohort of compact trucks tasked with backfilling the entry-level end of the pickup segment. This light-duty truck shares its underpinnings with the Escape crossover and Bronco Sport SUV.
What’s New/Key Changes From Last Year
For 2023, the Maverick gains a Tremor option package that enhances its off-road capabilities.
Available Trims
Ford offers the Maverick in LT, XLT, and Lariat trims. All three can be equipped with either a 2.5L front-wheel drive hybrid powertrain with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), or a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
Standard Features
Maverick LT comes with 17-inch steel wheels, manual-adjustable side mirrors, auto on/off LED headlights, manual A/C, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, six-speaker audio, power locks/windows, keyless entry, and cruise control. Standard safety kit includes automatic high beams, forward collision mitigation.
XLT models gain 17-inch alloy wheels and power-adjustable side mirrors.
Lariat trim adds 18-inch wheels, a power-sliding rear window, a power driver’s seat, dual-zone A/C, a 6.5-inch driver info display, passive keyless with push-button ignition, and ambient lighting.
Key Options
