The available V8 now uses a six-speed instead of a five-speed automatic transmission. Captain’s chairs and a rear-seat entertainment system are available. The Durango uses a 3.6-litre V6 engine with five-speed automatic or 5.7-litre Hemi V8 with six-speed automatic. The V6 is standard in the SXT, Crew Plus and Citadel. The V8 is standard in the R/T and can be optioned in the Crew Plus and Citadel. All models use all-wheel drive and have three rows of seats. Features on the SXT include 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, cloth seats, 60/40 fold-and-tumble second-row seat, 50/50 split-folding third-row seat, fold-flat front passenger seat, Uconnect hands-free phone, hill start assist, all-speed traction control, automatic headlamps, fog lamps, heated mirrors, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, keyless entry, Media Centre 130 with six speakers and auxiliary jack, Sirius satellite radio, four-wheel disc brakes, electronic vehicle information centre, and active front head restraints. The Crew Plus adds 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, eight-way driver and six-way power passenger heated leather-faced seats, heated second-row seats, Media Centre 430 with 6.5-inch touch screen and 28-GB hard disc drive, nine-speaker Alpine Audio system, rearview camera, park assist, proximity key, power liftgate, remote starter, security alarm, leather-wrapped steering wheel, bright door handles, grille and mirrors, chrome roof racks with stowable integrated crossbars, cargo cover, driver’s side memory and auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Citadel adds 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels, ventilated Nappa leather seats with perforated inserts, eight-way power passenger seat, sunroof, SmartBeam auto-levelling xenon headlamps, blind spot monitoring, cross-traffic detection, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, power tilt and telescopic heated steering wheel, and Media Centre 730N with touch screen, 20-GB hard disc drive and navigation system. The R/T builds on the Crew Plus and adds 20-inch polished aluminum wheels with grey pockets, performance steering and suspension, premium leather-faced seats, body-colour grille and fascia, SmartBeam auto-levelling xenon headlamps, eight-way power passenger seat and power-adjustable tilt and telescopic steering wheel.
