NEW FOR 2015:
-SRT Hellcat and 392, and R/T Scat Pack trims
-Eight-speed automatic transmission standard in all models, with electronic shifter
-Refreshed interior and exterior styling
-Next-generation 8.4-inch touchscreen media centre available, seven-inch customizable in-cluster display standard
It's not a full redesign, but it might as well be for all the updates Dodge bestows on its full-size Charger for 2015. The most significant is the addition of a Hellcat option, sharing a 707-hp/650 lb-ft supercharged engine, slotting in above the also-new SRT 392 model, with its 485-hp/475 lb-ft naturally-aspirated V8. Coming in just below that is the R/T Scat Pack, which shares the 392's engine. Next down the line is a 5.7-litre Hemi V8 making 370 hp/395 lb-ft, and finally, the bottom of the Challenger is held up by a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6, rated at 292 hp/260 lb-ft (or 300/264 with the Rallye Appearance Group).
All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic, the only differences being mechanical upgrades to help it stand up to the V8 motors. All-wheel drive is an option with the V6.
