For 2011, the Dodge Avenger undergoes a redesign. Now a twin to the all-new Chrysler 200, the Avenger features a new six-speed automatic on its four-cylinder model, an all-new V6, new suspension, and new interior and exterior styling.
The Avenger comes with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine or 3.6-litre V6. The 2.4-litre comes with a four-speed automatic in the SE (Canada Value Package), which can be optioned to the six-speed automatic. The SXT comes with the 2.4-litre and six-speed automatic, while the SXT Plus uses the V6 with six-speed automatic.
Features on the Canada Value Package include 17-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, power windows, keyless entry, heated mirrors, cruise control, tilt and telescopic three-spoke steering wheel, tire pressure monitoring system and security alarm.
The SXT adds 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, eight-way power driver’s seat, fog lamps, body-colour rear spoiler, trip computer, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, and electronic stability control.
The SXT Plus adds heated leather seats, dual exhaust, UConnect with Bluetooth, automatic headlamps, garage door opener, remote starter and auto up/down front windows.
