Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Note: For the Grand Cherokee model, this recall affects 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-2023 Grand Cherokee L models. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the radio software.

Issue: On one plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicle, the 12 V battery isolator post may not have been installed properly. As a result, there could be a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a dealership to modify the 12 V isolator post. As a result, the engine could shut down and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the power inverter module (PIM) and, if necessary, update the instrument panel cluster software.
