Issue:
On a small number of vehicles, the connector for the side curtain airbags may not be properly secured. As a result, the side curtain airbags may not inflate properly in a crash.
Safety Risk:
A side curtain airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
An FCA dealer has already repaired the two affected vehicles by securing the connector for the side curtain airbags.
Issue:
On certain vehicles, the steering column control module may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the driver-front airbag may not inflate in a crash.
Note: This problem would cause the airbag warning light to turn on.
Safety Risk:
An airbag that is turned off could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering column control module.
