oldcadman Crossfire Risdster October 12, 2015 Roadster
Overall Score
Our 2008 Crossfire joins a few other interesting cars in the garage - a 1971 Cadillac, 1931 Model A Ford and a 1997 Buick Riviera besides daily drivers and GMC 4X4. The little Crossfire is our summer toy and besides being fun to drive, it attracts (almost too much) attention by curious bystanders questioning "what is it?". We store the old cars in winter and are pretty careful about the roads we drive on. We didn't buy this as an investment, more to put some snap back into our road trips. This car has achieved that. One neighbour lady asked if I (age later 60s) was in mid-life crisis?..My reply was "I'm way past that - this is second childhood".

On certain vehicles, the driver frontal airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure during airbag deployment. Increased pressure may cause the inflator to rupture, which could allow fragments to be propelled toward vehicle occupants, increasing the risk of injury. This could also damage the airbag module, which could prevent proper deployment. Failure of the airbag to fully deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the front driver air bag module.
