For 2011, the Chevrolet Impala receives standard body-colour side mouldings, and OnStar is upgraded into its ninth generation for improved voice recognition, along with standard Turn-by-Turn Navigation. The 3.5-litre V6 is now capable of accepting E85 ethanol flexible fuel.
The Impala comes with a choice of two engines. A 3.5-litre V6 is used in the LS and LT, while a 3.9-litre V6 is used in the LTZ. Both come with a four-speed automatic transmission and both can be used with E85 ethanol fuel.
Features on the LS include 17-inch painted steel wheels, air conditioning, keyless entry, automatic headlamps, OnStar with Turn-by-Turn Navigation, body-colour door handles, power mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, cruise control, floor mats, driver information centre, tilt steering wheel, vanity mirrors, driver’s auto-down window, cloth seats, six-way driver’s power adjustment, and CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input.
The LT adds 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone manual air conditioning, remote starter, compass, exterior temperature gauge, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, illuminated vanity mirrors, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The LTZ adds 18-inch alloy wheels, anti-theft alarm, sport suspension, chrome door handles, fog lights, heated mirrors, spoiler, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, garage door opener, and 60/40 split-folding rear seat.
