For 2011, the Cadillac DTS is unchanged, except for an upgrade to the ninth generation of OnStar.
The DTS uses two versions of a 4.6-litre V8, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. On the DTS, the engine makes 275 horsepower. It can be optioned to a version that makes 292 horsepower; the more powerful engine is also standard on the DTS Platinum.
Features on the DTS 1SA include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic xenon headlamps, keyless entry, OnStar with Turn-by-Turn Navigation, automatic rear-levelling suspension, fog lights, front cornering lights, LED taillights, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, variable intermittent wipers, dark wood accents, cruise control, driver information centre, tire pressure monitoring system, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, compass, illuminated vanity mirrors, tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, auto up/down front windows, auto-down rear windows, eight-way power leather seats, driver’s side memory, rear-seat pass-through, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and XM satellite radio. A front bench seat can be optioned for six-passenger seating.
The 1SC package adds tri-zone automatic climate control, heated and cooled front seats, power sunroof, heated rear seats, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, front and rear parking assist, garage door opener and Bluetooth connectivity.
The 1SD adds real walnut burl wood trim, massaging power lumbar, cargo net, rear seat height-adjustable head restraints, trunk floor mat, power-folding mirrors, non-heated power tilt and telescopic steering column, body-colour front grille, Intellibeam headlamps and Bose eight-speaker sound system.
The Platinum includes the more powerful engine and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, sport suspension, magnetic ride control, full leather upholstery, LED foot well lighting, navigation system and heated wood and leather steering wheel.
