Buick's compact offering gets a host of trim upgrades for 2014, including additional electronic safety kit, heated front seats, universal home remote, and 18-inch alloy wheels on certain models. Based on the Chevrolet Cruze, the Buick Verano is essentially an Opel Astra sedan for the North American market. Think of it as a luxury Cruze without the diesel option. However, you can have a 2.0L turbocharged engine with a bit more pip than the 1.4L turbo in the Chevy.
The Verano uses a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with six-speed automatic transmission and a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.
Detailed feature information will be posted when it becomes available.
