2016 Audi TTS

Audi's compact TTS coupe takes the syling and performance of the TT coupe and adds n S to it. What does that mean? Well other than an extra letter it means an extra 72 horses from the 2.0L turbo four. It means a close-ratio six-speed dual clutch transmission with near instantaneous gear changes. There's launch control, magnetic ride shocks, and massive brakes. Unlike the Porsche Cayman it offers all-wheel drive, meaning you can use that performance rain, shine, or snow. The TTS is fast, has immense grip, is luxurious, and has style not found anywhere else.

The dash is set up with a 12.3-inch screen in the gauge cluster instead of a central display. This is a setup aimed solely at the driver, because the TTS is intended to be driven. As in hard. Not just aimed to the office or the convenience store. The TTS is all-new for 2016, with a complete redesign. The new car is 25 kg lighter than the old one, using aluminium doors, lighter seats, lighter brakes, lighter wheels...you get the point.

The TTS comes in just one trim, with one engine, and one transmission. There are 19-inch wheels underneath, attached to magnetically adjustable dampers. The head and tail-lights are all LED. There is a standard nine-speaker stereo, the seats are leather, power adjustable and heated, and there are rear parking sensors. Navigation is an option, as is a pack with blind spot warning, front parking sensors, and rear-view camera. Air bladder side bolsters for the seats are optional, and a 680-watt 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo is also available. The TTS is rated at 10.3 L/100 km city and 8.6 highway.
