The Audi TTS is all-new for 2016, so the 2015 model doesn't see any changes. The fast, distinctively styled compact coupe and convertible keep their 265 hp 2.0L turbocharged four cylinder, six-speed dual clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.
The TTS comes with standard Audi magnetic ride. These are shocks with a special magnetically responsive fluid that can change from full soft to full stiff, or anywhere between, in a fraction of a second. This allows for a ride that is comfortable, and handling that is sharp. The level of desired stiffness is selectable via Audi drive select, which also adjust shift quickness, steering assist and throttle response.
Standard features on the TTS include LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights, adaptive headlights and fog lights. Inside there are six-way power sport seats that are heated and covered in Nappa leather. There is Audi MMI infotainment with navigation and bluetooth. The stereo is a Bose 12-speaker for the coupe, and nine-speaker for the convertible. A rear parking system is also standard. Fuel economy is rated at 11.7 L/100 km city for both models, 8.4 L/100 km highway for the coupe and 8.5 L/100 km for the convertible.
The TTS competes with the BMW Z4 and 440i, as well as the Porsche Cayman and Boxster. The Audi is the most stylish of the bunch, but can still hold its own when the going gets quicker.
