Introduced in Canada in 2020, the Audi SQ7 is a high-performance version of the brand’s mid-size, three-row Q7 SUV, conceived to capitalize on the popularity of speedy crossovers from its European competitors.

The 2023 SQ7 gets a few new standard features: leather dash trim, a remote park assist function, and a revised tire pressure monitoring system.
Available Trims
Audi offers the SQ7 in a single trim level, powered by a 4.0L turbo V8 engine, an eight-speed transmission, and AWD.
Standard Features
The SQ7’s exterior features include 21-inch wheels, adaptive rain-sensing wipers, puddle lights, auto-dimming/power-folding side mirrors, a power tailgate, matrix LED headlights with washers, LED taillights, and passive keyless entry. Inside, you’ll enjoy a panoramic sunroof, front sport seats with heat and ventilation, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, an auto-dimming mirror, ambient lighting, rear door sunshades, and leather dash trim.
A 10.1-inch touchscreen houses a B&O stereo, satellite radio, navigation, and wireless Apple CarPlay. Other tech items include wireless phone charging, digital gauges, and a head-up display.
Finally, the SQ7 gets a full suite of driver safety assists comprising front and rear collision mitigation, active cruise control, lane departure warning, intersection/traffic jam/turn assist, 360-degree cameras, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, exit warning, and electronic rear-door child locks.
Key Options
A dynamic package adds a sport differential and electronic roll stabilization.
You can also option in massaging front seats with passenger memory and an air fragrance system. A black optics pack is a cosmetic option that blacks out various exterior trim elements.
Fuel Economy
Audi estimates the SQ7’s fuel consumption at 16.1/11.3 L/100 km (city/highway).
Competition
Audi positions the SQ7 to take on the BMW X5 and X6 M variants and the larger X7 M50i; the Porsche Cayenne GTS and Turbo; Mercedes-AMG’s GLE models and the three-row GLE 580; and V8-powered versions of the Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.
