History/Overview
What do you do when you want an SUV that neither looks like nor drives like one? You choose a vehicle like the Audi SQ5 Sportback, a high-performance compact crossover whose sleek styling looks more like a fastback than a utility vehicle. Audi added the SQ5 Sportback to its lineup in 2021.
What’s New/Key Changes From Last Year
This year, the SQ5 adds wireless phone charging and wireless device integration as standard equipment.
Available Trims
Audi offers the SQ5 Sportback in Progressiv and Technik trim levels. Both are powered by a turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine, an eight-speed transmission, and AWD.
Standard Features
Progressiv trim comes with adaptive suspension, rain-sensing wipers, auto on/off LED headlights with automatic high beams, power-folding/auto-dimming side mirrors, 21-inch wheels, passive keyless entry, and a hands-free tailgate. Inside, you get heated/power front seats with lumbar, heated steering wheel, three-zone A/C, quilted Nappa leather, an auto-dimming interior mirror, panoramic roof, ambient lighting, and an integrated garage remote. Infotainment functions run through a 10.1-inch touchscreen with 10-speaker audio, navigation, the newly added wireless phone charging, and digital gauges.
The standard safety package includes front and rear parking sensors, front and rear collision mitigation, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and exit warning alert.
Technik trim adds LED matrix headlights with washers, dynamic taillights, heated rear seats, power steering column adjustments, heated/cooled cupholders, and a Bang & Olufsen stereo. Safety additions are a top-view camera, adaptive cruise control, all-speed forward collision mitigation, traffic congestion assist, and active lane assist.
