Since the late 2000s, the Audi S5 has brought serious style to the compact luxury coupe class. Its basic appearance has changed little thanks to a design that has aged well while its competitors have been redesigned multiple times in the same span.

New this year are wireless phone charging and Android Auto connectivity for the S5 coupe’s base model.
Available Trims
Audi sells the S5 coupe in Progressiv and Technik trim levels. In both, performance comes from a 3.0L turbo V6, eight-speed transmission, and AWD.
Standard Features
Audi fits the S5’s Progressiv configuration with 19-inch wheels, LED matrix headlights with automatic high beams, auto-dimming side mirrors, passive keyless entry, a sunroof, and hands-free trunk opening. Inside, there are heated sport seats in Nappa leather, three-zone A/C, ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, auto-dimming mirror with toll transponder and garage remote, digital gauges, and wireless phone charging.
A 10.1-inch infotainment display contains navigation, satellite radio, and 10-speaker audio. Standard safety kit includes front and rear parking sensors, forward and reverse collision detection/mitigation, lane departure warning, blind spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Technik trim adds laser headlights with washers, dynamic taillights, power-folding mirrors, an upgraded stereo, top-view cameras, adaptive cruise, traffic jam assist, road sign recognition, and lane keeping assist.
Key Options
In Progressiv trim, an advanced driver assistance pack adds Technik’s more sophisticated safety kit. Both trims offer a dynamic pack of sport differential and adaptive suspension, and a new-for-2023 competition package is a cosmetic tweak that blacks out various exterior trim elements.

Audi estimates the S5 coupe’s fuel consumption at 11.1/8.0 L/100 km (city/highway).
