NEW FOR 2015:
-Standard full paint finish and chrome accents
-New exterior styling packages
With a redesigned Q7 on the way for 2016, this year's model carries over with minor trim changes. Three models are available: the 3.0 TFSI uses a supercharged V6 making 280 hp and 296 lb-ft of torque, while the Sport model gets an amped-up version of that engine, good for 333 hp and 326 lb-ft. TDI models use a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 with 240 hp and 407 lb-ft. All Q7s get Quattro all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Trim levels are Progressiv and Vorsprung Edition (3.0T and TDI), and Sport.
Standard kit in 3.0T models includes 18-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights, Xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, LED taillights, power tailgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, electric tilt-and-telescopic steering, eight-way power leather seats, four-way power lumbar for front seats, driver seat memory, heated front and rear seats, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, MMI radio, 10-speaker stereo, satellite radio, Bluetooth, Audi music interface, monochrome driver information display, front and rear park assist, backup camera, cruise control, electric-folding/heatable side mirrors with integrated turn signals, and a heated leather steering wheel.
The 3.0T Vorsprung Edition adds 20-inch wheels, navigation, 14-speaker stereo, colour driver information display, intelligent keyless entry, S line bumpers and badging, and a black headliner.
TDI models come equipped much like 3.0T trim, but add 19-inch wheels, navigation and a colour driver information display.
TDI Vorsprung Edition echoes the 3.0T version, but adds a 6,000-pound towing package with 7-pin adapter.
Sport trim builds on the TDI Vorsprung package, and gets 21-inch wheels, adaptive headlights, panoramic sunroof, garage door opener, Audi side and lane assist, manual sunshades for rear side windows, and a corner view camera.
