The Audi Q5 Sportback is the most conventional of the brand’s coupe-like SUV models, sharing its platform and powertrains with the standard Q5.
What’s New/Key Changes From Last Year
This year’s Q5 Sportback changes are some new standard features for the base trim level.
Available Trims
Audi offers the Q5 Sportback in Progressiv and Technik trims. In both, power is from a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder engine, a seven-speed transmission, and AWD.
Standard Features
Progressiv trim’s new features are 20-inch wheels, sport front seats with lumbar, stainless steel pedals, black headliner and gloss back console, brushed aluminum interior trim, wireless phone charging, and a smartphone interface. Carried forward from last year are LED headlights, passive keyless entry with hands-free tailgate, power-folding/auto-dimming side mirrors, heated front seats, three-zone A/C, leather upholstery, an auto-dimming interior mirror, garage door remote, and a panoramic roof.
Infotainment functions work through a 10.1-inch touchscreen, which controls a 10-speaker stereo, navigation, and satellite radio. There’s also a digital gauge cluster.
Standard safety kit includes forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Technik trim adds LED matrix headlights with washers, heated/cooled cupholders, heated rear seats, power steering wheel adjustments, a B&O stereo, top-view cameras, adaptive cruise, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, active lane assist, and hands-off detection.
