The 2022 Audi Q4 E-Tron is a brand-new model.
Available Trims
Audi offers the Q4 E-Tron in Komfort, Progressiv, and Technik trim levels. All use two electric motors powered by an 82 kWh battery.
Standard Features
Komfort trim comes with 19-inch wheels, LED exterior lighting, a power tailgate, heated side mirrors, and passive keyless entry. Inside, you get a power driver’s seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, leather upholstery, three-zone A/C, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting. The infotainment system is run through a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a smartphone interface, satellite radio, and a 10.25-inch gauge display.
The Q4’s standard safety items include forward collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning.
Progressiv trim adds auto-dimming/power-folding side mirrors, a power front passenger seat, four-way front-seat lumbar, an auto-dimming interior mirror, a sport steering wheel, navigation, and traffic sign recognition.
Finally, Technik models gain a heated windshield, upgraded LED headlights and taillights, headlight washers, driver’s seat memory, a premium stereo, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, and traffic jam assist.
Fuel Economy
Audi’s energy consumption estimates for the Q4 E-Tron are 2.4/2.6 Le/100 km (city/highway). Promised driving range is 388 km on a full charge.
Competition
As we write this, the Audi Q4’s closest competitor is the Tesla Model Y. None of Audi’s German counterparts have launched a compact electric crossover, nor have any of the industry’s other mainstream upscale auto brands.
