History/Overview
The Audi E-Tron GT is the newest member of the brand’s electric car family, an all-new grand touring sedan designed to challenge the marketplace’s leading battery-powered performance models.
Available Trims
Audi makes the E-Tron GT in a single trim. Power is from a pair of electric motors that provide AWD performance and grip. There’s also a quicker RS E-Tron GT, which we’ve covered in a separate buyer’s guide entry.
Standard Features
Every E-Tron GT comes fitted with 20-inch wheels, auto-dimming/power-folding side mirrors, adaptive air suspension, LED laser headlights, and passive keyless entry with hands-free tailgate. Inside, there are heated 14-way front seats, power steering column, auto-dimming mirror, leather-free upholstery, three-zone A/C, and a panoramic roof.
Infotainment functions are handled through a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and you also get a Bang & Olufsen stereo, digital gauges, and a built-in toll transponder. Finally, the E-Tron GT’s safety suite comprises pre sense 360, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, exit warning, swerve assist, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control.
Key Options
A premium package bundles remote parking with heated rear seats, park assist, lighted door sills, and topview cameras. The performance pack brings all-wheel steering, and e-torque vectoring.
A fine Nappa leather pack adds a full leather interior, heated steering wheel, front-seat ventilation, and 18-way front seats.

Audi estimates the E-Tron GT’s energy consumption at 2.9/2.8 Le/100 km (city/highway).
Competition
Among the E-Tron GT’s primary competitors is the closely related Porsche Taycan. The GT also aims to draw buyers away from Tesla’s Model S, and later in the 2022 model year, the Mercedes-Benz EQS luxury sedan.

On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit.
Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-189. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
Safety Risk:
A short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk.
Corrective Actions:
To reduce the safety risk, Audi recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed. Audi will notify owners by mail. As an interim repair, a dealer will inspect and, if necessary, replace the high-voltage battery modules. Once the final repair is available, Audi will notify you by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install an advanced diagnostic software that will monitor the high-voltage battery and warn you if it detects a problem.

The owner's manual for certain vehicles lists the wrong units for the recommended tire pressures. If you rely on what is printed in the owner's manual, you may not inflate the tires properly.
