Following last year's addition of a 2.0TFSI four-cylinder model to the A6 line, that motor gains nine horsepower for 2014, for a total of 220. Even more newsworthy is the newly-available 3.0L TDI diesel engine option. Its 240 hp doesn't seem like much of a move up from the four-cylinder, but 428 lb-ft of torque sure does. Carried over from last year are the 3.0T trim's 310-hp supercharged V6, and the S6's 420-hp, turbocharged 4.0L V8.
2.0T Progressiv models come with 18-inch wheels, aluminum inlays, Xenon headlights, sunroof, power trunk with movement-activated function, auto-dimming heated outside mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, four-spoke leather-trimmed and heated multifunction steering wheel with electric tilt and telescope, leather seats, eight-way power front seats with adjustable driver lumbar and memory, front and rear seat warmers, auto-dimming inside mirror, 10-speaker stereo with MMI control, satellite radio, Bluetooth, music interface, colour driver information display, intelligent keyless entry, cruise control and Audi drive select.
3.0T and TDI Progressiv models add five V-spoke design wheels, dark walnut inlay, Homelink and front and rear park assist.
Technik trim adds double-spoke design wheels, dark walnut inlays, steerable Xenon headlights, electric-folding auto-dimming heated outside mirrors, navigation with MMI control and MMI touch, Homelink, front and rear park assist, top-view camera, side assist with pre-sense rear, and interior ambient plus package.
3.0T and TDI Technik cars add 19-inch wheels, four-zone automatic climate control, electric rear window sunshade, and manual rear side window sunshades.
The S6 comes in a single trim that includes 19-inch wheels, carbon atlas inlays, rear sport differential, adaptive air suspension, S6-specific bumpers, LED headlights, sunroof, power trunk with movement-activated function, electric-folding auto-dimming heated outside mirrors, aluminum mirror housings, four-zone automatic climate control, three-spoke heated leather steering wheel with shift paddles and electric tilt and telescope, Valcona leather seats, eight-way power adjustable front sport seats with four-way lumbar and driver seat memory, heated front and rear seats, rear window electric sunshade and manual rear side window sunshades, auto-dimming inside mirror, navigation with MMI control and MMI touch, 14-speaker Bose stereo with MMI control, satellite radio, Bluetooth, music interface, colour driver information display, Homelink, intelligent keyless entry, front and rear park assist, top-view camera, cruise control, side assist with rear pre-sense, Audi drive select and interior ambient plus package.
