For 2014, the only notable change to the A5 line is nine more horsepower for 2.0L TFSI models, for a total of 220. The 333-hp S5, powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6, and the hell-raiser RS5, with its 420-hp V8, carry over mechanically unchanged. A5 and S5 Coupes can be had with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions, while the A5 Cabriolet only comes with the auto, and the S5 Cabrio gets a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox shared with the RS5 Coupe and Cabrio.
A5 Coupe Komfort models come with 18-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, automatic climate control, Bluetooth, music interface, auto-dimming inside mirror with compass, high-gloss exterior trim, multi-function three-spoke leather steering wheel, heated front seats, power front seats with driver lumbar, trunk storage package, heated power outside mirrors, Xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and taillights.
Progressiv trim adds unique 18-inch wheels, navigation, intelligent keyless entry, driver seat memory, aluminum interior trim, auto-dimming heated outside mirrors, three-zone climate control and colour driver information system display.
Technik trim adds its own 18-wheel design, rear park assist, Homelink, side assist, steerable Xenon headlights and Bang & Olufsen stereo.
A5 Progressiv and Technik Cabriolet standard features are similar to those of the Coupe.
S5 Progressiv trim includes 18-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, Bluetooth, music interface, multi-function three-spoke flat-bottom leather steering wheel, heated front seats, power front seats with driver lumbar and memory, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, high-gloss exterior trim, brush aluminum interior trim, trunk storage package, auto-dimming heated exterior mirrors, three-zone climate control, colour driver information system display, trunk load-through provision, nappa leather seats, sport seats, Xenon headlights and LED DRLs and taillights.
The S5 Technik adds 19-inch wheels, navigation, intelligent keyless entry, rear park assist, Homelink, side assist, steerable Xenon headlights and Bang & Olufsen stereo.
S5 Cabriolet models come with standard features similar to those of the Coupe.
RS5 models come in a single trim that includes 19-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, Bluetooth, music interface, leather three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, Audi drive select, heated front seats, power front seats with lumbar and driver memory, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, matte aluminum exterior trim, carbon fibre interior trim, trunk storage package, auto-dimming and heated exterior mirrors, three-zone climate control, colour driver information system display, trunk load-through provisino, dynamic steering, nappa leather sport seats, steerable Xenon headlights, front and rear park assist, LED DRLs and taillights, intelligent keyless entry, Homelink and side assist.
RS5 Cabriolet feature are similar to those of the Coupe.
