For 2011, the Acura TL is unchanged.
The TL comes with a choice of two engines. A 3.5-litre V6 is used in the front-wheel drive version. A 3.7-litre V6 is used in the all-wheel, which comes with Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). Both use a five-speed automatic transmission. When the SH-AWD is ordered with a technology package, it can be optioned with a six-speed manual transmission.
Features on the TL include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, active front head restraints, LED taillights and brake lights, tire pressure monitoring system, acoustic windshield, front splash guards, fog lights, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals and tilt-down in reverse, xenon headlamps, power sunroof, floor mats, ten-way driver and eight-way passenger power-adjustable heated leather seats, driver’s side memory, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, blue ambient lighting, exterior temperature gauge, Bluetooth connectivity, garage door opener, multi-information display, auto up/down front windows, locking rear-seat pass-through, speed-sensitive variable intermittent wipers, tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, trip computer, six-CD/MP3 stereo, and auxiliary and USB input.
The SH-AWD adds 18-inch alloy wheels, headlight washers, hill start assist and sport steering wheel.
The Technology package adds GPS-linked solar-sensing dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation system, rear-view camera, 12.7-GB hard disc drive storage, proximity key with pushbutton start, premium perforated leather upholstery and rear spoiler.
