Overall Score
The RSX Type-S is a car that has a good balance between fun, practicality, and fuel economy. The 2.0L i-VTEC engine is happy to rev up while still maintaining great mileage and providing a flat torque curve. The 6-speed transmission shifts effortlessly and smoothly into the desired gear. The suspension is a bit firm for confirm but rewards you with crisp handling.

On certain vehicles, the brake booster may have been manufactured incorrectly and could develop a leak. As such, the booster may be unable to maintain vacuum when the brake pedal is depressed. Loss of brake power assist could occur, which may result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the brake booster assembly.
