For 2011, changes to the Acura RDX are only in its exterior colour choices.
The RDX uses a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine with a five-speed automatic transmission that includes manual shift mode and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. It uses Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), which transfers torque between the front and rear axles and also from side to side, for improved cornering and traction.
It comes in a single trim line with an available Technology Package option.
Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, active front head restraints, tire pressure monitoring system, eight-way driver and four-way passenger heated perforated leather seats, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, floor mats, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, chrome door handles, fog lights, front and rear splash guards, auto-off xenon headlamps, variable intermittent wipers, intermittent rear washer/wiper, power sunroof, ambient lighting, auto-dimming rear-view mirror with back-up camera display, compass, illuminated vanity mirrors, exterior temperature gauge, Bluetooth connectivity, hard cargo cover, garage door opener, centre console with lockable briefcase storage, multi-information display, auto up/down driver’s window, keyless entry, cruise control, tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, windshield washer level sensor, and six-CD/MP3 stereo, USB and auxiliary input.
The available Technology Package adds premium stereo, Bluetooth audio and navigation system.
