For 2010, the Acura RDX receives a refresh, including new front and rear fascias, new grille and hood, redesigned wheels, rectangular exhaust finishers, revised taillights and satin-finish trim. New standard features include a backup camera with its display in the rearview mirror, automatic on/off headlamps, USB connector, Bluetooth, compass, and footwell ambient lighting.
The RDX uses a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and wheel-mounted paddle shifters. It uses Acura's Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), which transfers torque between the front and rear axles, and from side to side for improved cornering and traction.
The RDX comes in a single trim line, with an available Technology option package.
Features include 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, perforated heated leather seats with eight-way driver and four-way passenger power adjustment, 60/40 split-folding rear seat with centre armrest, floor mats, heated power-folding mirrors with integrated turn signals, fog lights, front and rear splash guards, xenon headlamps, variable intermittent wipers, intermittent rear washer/wiper, power sunroof, active front head restraints, tire pressure monitoring system, auto-dimming rearview mirror with backup camera display, automatic headlamps, illuminated vanity mirrors, exterior temperature display, Bluetooth connectivity, hard tonneau cover lid, garage door opener, lockable briefcase storage in centre armrest console, auto up/down driver's window, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, six-CD/MP3 stereo, auxiliary input, and USB device connector.
The Technology Package adds navigation system with bilingual voice recognition, and premium 410-watt six-CD/DVD stereo with ten speakers.
