The MDX uses a 3.7-litre V6 engine with six-speed automatic transmission and Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. It comes in a single trim line with two available packages, Technology or Elite. Seating is three-row for seven passengers. The Technology Package adds GPS-linked solar-sensing tri-zone front and rear automatic climate control, premium CD/DVD/MP3 stereo, 15-GB hard drive storage, navigation system, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, Bluetooth audio, perforated leather upholstery, 115-volt outlet and USB port.
