The MDX uses a 3.7-litre V6 engine with six-speed automatic transmission and Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. It comes in a single trim line with two available packages, Technology or Elite. Seating is three-row for seven passengers. Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, active front head restraints, tire pressure monitoring system, trailer stability assist, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals and tilt-down in reverse, fog lights, front and rear splash guards, xenon headlamps with washers, LED taillights, intermittent rear washer/wiper, power sunroof, ambient lighting, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, compass, illuminated vanity mirrors, exterior temperature gauge, Bluetooth connectivity, garage door opener, multi-information display, power tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, power liftgate, auto up/down front windows, rear-view camera, six-CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, XM satellite radio, ten-way driver and eight-way passenger heated leather seats, driver’s side memory, 60/40 split-folding second-row heated seats, and 50/50 split-folding third-row bench seat. The Technology Package adds GPS-linked solar-sensing tri-zone front and rear automatic climate control, premium CD/DVD/MP3 stereo, 15-GB hard drive storage, navigation system, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, Bluetooth audio, perforated leather upholstery, 115-volt outlet and USB port.
